Here in Alaska the leaves are beginning to turn and the air smells of autumn now. I’ve been happily sketching on our deck and in the neighborhood. It feels so good to get out and enjoy the mountain air. I hope you get a chance to do the same. Below are some sketches from my sketchbook and at the bottom are some links to artists’ blogs whose sketches are so inspiring to me. The link at the bottom is full of resources if you catch the sketchbook bug.

Just lovely, Suzie. Like your header too. You have a very nice style.
Coleen in Ukraine
These are all lovely, but I like the morning glories best.
Thank you, Coleen. Love the photos you post. Wonderful images!
Thank you “afternoon artist”! I hopped over to your blog. Love those photos of your dog. I’ve never seen a Pom/Daschund mix. What personality:)
Thank you, Suzie. He is a delightful puppy.
I love the Morning Glories. Beautiful! You are so talented. Makes me want to get my watercolors out and paint. Happy Autumn!!
Mazigrace, this is the first time I’ve been successful growing Morning Glories! They grew as weeds in Oregon, where I grew up. They are very temperamental to transplant, but this year they made it and I celebrated them with the little painting. I’d love to see your watercolors and oils! Painting is such fun.
